10 White Sarees for Indian Independence Day

Independence Day isn’t far away — India is completing 75 years of independence this year. And what better outfit fits this occasion more than the much-loved saree! All around the country, from schoolgirls to elderly women, a white saree sparks feelings of enthusiasm, peace and love. Adding the national colours — saffron, green and blue makes it the outfit of choice for Independence Day functions.

Just a note for those who are concerned: The Indian parliament passed a law in 2015 that allows you to wear the national flag and associated colours on dresses, costumes and uniforms, as long as you do it in a respectable manner.

So we girls can show our patriotism and love for India with saffron, white, green and blue! Here’s a small but interesting collection of Tiranga-pattern sarees that will give you some ideas on what to wear this August 15th:

    1. White – Orange Linen Saree with beautiful embroidery and Tassels

    4. White Butti Work Khadi Cotton Handloom Saree

This amazing tri-coloured saree comes with a matching blouse. While it’s also great for a White Days in official settings, it instantly inspires patriotic feelings due to its khadi cotton handloom fabric. You can take this as a default choice for Independence Day.

    5. Tiranga Color Georgette Woven Printed Saree

The horizontal lines on this saree make it specially suited to Independence Day. It simply gives you a patriotic feeling of the next level, with its perfect mix of saffron, white and green. While elegance is not compromised for the special day, the price is quite reasonable even if you’re planning to wear it just for one day. 6. White-Orange Floral Embroidered Linen Saree

This white and orange linen saree with floral design by Peachmode is amazingly beautiful. It has pretty floral embroidery work which makes it more eye-catching.  Further, the orange color Bangalori silk blouse piece can be made according to your requirements.

Although this saree has all the colours of the National Flag, it doesn’t look specially crafted for Independence Day; you can easily wear it at your usual functions and parties. This multi-purpose pattern combined with the price makes it an ideal choice, if you ask me.

    10. White & Orange Floral Pure Cotton Independence Day Saree

If you’re looking for a cool saree to wear on any given day of the year — not just Independence Day — then this is a perfect choice. It’s floral pattern and side green border give it unique look that makes it a great fit for any occasion from business lunch to anniversary dinner.

The extremely light cotton impressed me the most. The light weight makes this saree easy to carry, especially when you’re attending a function where you’re given some duties and responsibilities.

The only thing I didn’t appreciate, especially since this is from a common site like Myntra, is that this saree does not come with a blouse piece. I’m not sure why they aren’t providing a blouse piece — a matching blouse piece is the norm these days, online or offline. Having said that, if you’re someone like me who always wears mix-and-match blouse-saree combinations, it won’t be a big deal for you. You can match it with any cotton, velvet, plain or fancy blouse that has any of the colours of the national flag. I think it will look amazing if you team it up with a green or orange coloured blouse.

Price: ₹2700 – currently out of stock

  • 9 Nights, 9 Colors – The Captivating Charm of Navaratri

9 Nights, 9 Colors – The Captivating Charm of Navaratri

India is known for its colorful and vibrant festivals, and Navaratri is one of them. As the name suggests, Navaratri stands for nine nights. Celebrated across India for centuries, Navaratri is a festival to honor the divine mother, the deity, and the all-pervading power of feminism. There are a number of scriptures that praise the magnificence and splendor of Devi Durga and communicate tales of her victories.

The 9-colors of Navaratri and you

Navaratri is one of the biggest festivals in India and is celebrated with great devotion and gusto. People from all parts of India worship the nine avatars of the deity and enjoy their hearts out during the festival. As with all the Indian festivals, there are many rituals associated with Navaratri too. During the nine days of the festival, nine different incarnations of the Goddess are worshiped. And, each of them epitomizes a different color, which makes it nine different colors. It is considered that wearing that very color on that very day is a good omen and brings good luck. No wonder why, India looks so colorful and vivacious during the nine nights of Navaratri.

Now that this beautiful festival is about to knock on your doors, your wardrobe is probably getting ready for it. The pandal hopping, the scintillating Garba nights, the drool-worthy food, and ultimate fun and frolic, you want to slay with your gorgeous looks each day, every time, right? As far as fashion ideas for Navaratri are concerned, you can never ever afford to do without an elegant and dazzling Chaniya Choli. In fact, it is the dress code for most Garba arcades.

Are you looking for some mesmerizing, beautiful, and breathtaking Chaniya Choli designs this Navaratri? The grandeur and beauty of Chaniya Cholis to be adorned during the nine utterly mesmerizing nights of Navaratri lies in its one-of-its-kind work and colors. Let’s check out some of the latest and unique Chaniya Choli Designs you can adorn this Navaratri –

Red is the color of power

Day-one of Navaratri, the Pratipada, is marked by the color red and epitomizes strength and action. This lehenga choli decked with minimal, yet gorgeous mirror-work all over the body of the lehenga and choli and a beautiful matching dupatta embellished with a continuous thread of mirrors will add bling to your look on a festive night.

When energy and serenity come together

Dwitiya, the day-two is denoted by the color of energy and tranquillity, blue. So, you can try wearing a navy-blue art silk lehenga enhanced with beautiful gold foil prints paired with a magnificent yellow choli and magenta jacket to look as vibrant as your spirits during Navaratri. Tinted in perfect color combinations, this chaniya choli is lovely and out-of-the-box for this Navaratri.

Be a Braveheart, experiment with Yellow on the third day!

Tritiya, the third day of Navaratri is observed as the deity’s beauty and bravery and is symbolized by the color yellow. Something like this yellow Kathiyawadi chaniya choli, inspired by rural India topped with a backless blouse with colorful and intricate embroidery and plain blue dupatta is the best choice for you. Add some oxidized silver jewelry and you are ready to kill.

Be you, be as bright as green

Chaturthi, the fourth day of Navaratri, is symbolized by the vibrant color, green. If you don’t like too much work on your lehenga, this dress is for you. A perfect combination of solid-green lehenga bordered with black brings out the best contrast. You can either wear it with a matching embroidered blouse, or a simple white shirt. Pair it with some traditional Gujarati jewelry, and you are ready to go.

    Grey isn’t necessarily boring

When it comes to Panchami, the fifth day of Durga Puja, the grey is the color of ferociousness and a mother’s inner strength. You can adorn this simple, yet beautiful traditional Gujarati lehenga choli if you long to stand out from the regular. Go all elusive in this grey color lehenga paired with mix and match blouse embellished with mirror and thread work.

Flaunt the diva in you in Orange

Sashthi, the 6th day of Navaratri is marked by the color orange. Slay in a dual-tone traditional Gujarati lehenga made up of lightweight crepe fabric with simple Zari border. You can team it up with a pastel green choli with minimal embroidery work and embellishments on the arms and around the neckline. A pristine orange yoke with simple motifs is more than enough to make you look gorgeous.

    Look peacefully gorgeous in White

The seventh of Navaratri, Saptami, is represented by the color white. Try this flamboyant white printed lehenga bordered with a solid navy-blue block and colorful tassels around. Adorn this no dupatta look with a multi-color thread and mirror-worked navy-blue choli and be the talk of the town to feel the seventh heaven.

Bang on your fashion sense with Pink

Whose says fusion wear doesn’t look traditional? Drape in an Indo-western Chaniya Choli this Navaratri’s Ashtami, the eighth day, in a solid pink lehenga with a plain zari border, teamed with an off-shoulder yellow blouse with a multi-color ornamental strap and pine green dupatta. Dab in some kajal and put in some oxidized silver ornaments and you’re good to go.

Look naturally beautiful in light blue colour

On the last day of Navaratri, Navami, although your heart gets heavy, the feeling that the goddess will revisit in the very next year, all over again, gives you a reason to smile and enjoy. Mark the end of Navaratri in beautiful light-blue attire. How about this layered and printed light-blue lehenga with a fuchsia sleeveless blouse and a pleated dupatta with zari border?

  • Navratri Trends to Look Out For in 2022

Navratri Trends to Look Out For in 2022

Navratri is a festival close to my heart. Garba and the confectionaries are partly the cause of it, but there is something most people overlook – “Feminisim”. You were not expecting that one, did you? The auspicious festival of Navratri is actually celebrated to rejoice over the defeat of the demon “Mahishasura” who was granted immortality by Lord Brahma. The only catch being, that he could be defeated by a woman. Assuming it was beneath any female to outwit him, Mahishasura created a havoc not only at Earth, but in heaven as well. It was Goddess Durga who finally lead to his downfall. An authentic story on the power women carry, and a one men often ignore, is not it?

But I would not get into the controversial topic of Feminism today. Rather what I have to bring to the table, shall stir every woman’s interest. This blog shall enlist trends in Navratri outfits and jewelry that you can look out for, while you are off Navratri Shopping

    1. Shell Jwellery

Shell jwelleries are much in trend this year. It looks elegant as well as affordable. Sometimes they are heavy if shells are in more quantities, rest it looks classy.

    2. Colorful Handmade Thread Navratri Jewellery

Handmade jewellery made out of thread, mirrors and shells or ginis looks very very beautiful as well as super comfy. As I mentioned they are mostly made by threads so are light weight. So twirl this navratri in this eye grabbing piece and feel like feature.

    3. Pom-Pom Earrings

Fashion trends change before one can snap their fingers. But, something about changing trends is exciting. Like how the world whipped Dalgona coffee together, it sort of gives a unified feeling to the whole. In the fashion community, Pom-Pom earrings are doing the trick. Not just India, these lightweight earrings are trending around the globe. A- They are eye catchy. B- They will never weigh your earlobes down like the jhumkas might do. C- Well, sometimes you don’t need a C, they are just in the trend!

    4. Mirrored Necklace

The mirror on the wall, might lie about your beauty but the mirrors on a string wrapped around your neck, are bound to alleviate it. Mirrors are not contemporary, they have been accessorized long ago; but something about them still looks utterly lovely.

    5. Authentic Kedia in Stylish Black

“Old is Gold” they say. And they are right. No matter how progressive or innovative we become in the way we celebrate Navratri, Kedia shall always remain a timeless trend that people will still follow.

    6. Teal Printed Pant Suit

Once, you start wearing the pants, there is no going back to those long skirts that one might trip into. Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop makes your work easier, by providing an excellent range of such Indo-Western options. If you are specifically interested in Indo-Western alternatives for Chanya Choli, you can find more creative options here.

    7. Oxidized Baju-Bandh

This accessory is somewhat of a Navratri special, as we rarely wear it outside of the nine dancing days. It is so antique and quaint as a piece of jewelry, one is charmed to pair it up with their #OOTD, whether that might be the typical chaniya choli or a simple kurti that needs embellishment.

    8. A Sexy Headgear – Mathhapai

Gosh, look at the bedecked headgear that lies on the beautiful lady’s forehead. One simple accessory and her entire face is illuminating. Nykaa remains to stun us every single time.

    9. Wrap Dress

This Patola printed cotton wrap dress, is so delicately made. It contains no nuisances associated with draping of a saree or a dupatta. Adorned with simple but classy flats, I think the entire look in a word, is demure. For uncomplicated dresses like these, a complex braid can balance the look, maybe something like a mermaid braid. For more Navratri hairstyles, you can check out our other blog post that consists of easy, doable looks 🙂

    10. Dhoti Set

Everything goes up a notch, when Radhika Apte is in it; but this floral dhoti set is truly gorgeous on its own too, is not it? Dhoti suits are the talk of the town. They can be recycled from a well-considered Wedding buy to a last minute Navratri outfit.

    11. Orange Printed Trench Coat

We know what you are thinking. That is aesthetic but how in the world is she supposed to dance with so many layers on? Don’t worry the scarf or the cloth attached at the front of her neck is not a part of the outfit. Only the shrug seeming long overcoat, is what we are attempting to suggest. Paired with a black ganji and simple denim, it would be a comfortable, funky outfit that still encultures the essence of Navratri. You can buy this exquisite item, here.

    12. Kaftan Kurti with Pom-Poms

Teenu suit suit karta, oh teenu suit suit karda 😉 This girl might not be in a saree, but we cannot resist, as the Kaftan Kurta definitely suit karta. It is a tad plain looking, now we never denied that. But, add in some heavy jhumkas, or better, an authentic maang-tikka and the outfit is suddenly Instagram-worthy. A fancy pair of stilettoes are also a BIG yes.

    13. Heavy Choker with a Simpler Dress

Such a classic combination, but it still works. On days you don’t want to waste much time determining what clothing goes with which accessory, remember the golden rule – A simple dress with a heavy choker necklace shall always work. A plunging neckline shall further let the neckpiece accentuate its effect. Jewelry, can turn an office outfit into a festive one.

    14. Neon is the New Orange

Someone is who looking for a “Pop” effect, something that is bound to make their dress stand out from the crowd; should not hesitate twice before slipping into a Fuscia robe or a neon orange ghaghra. It is hip, it is different and it bound to make heads turn.

    15. Statement Ring

Rings are weapons of  beauty encircled around fingers. Size does not always matter, except here it does. A big statement ring can garnish even a plain outfit. As many Garba movements include rapid movements of hands, it draws attention to the graceful dancer and adds to her finesse and beauty

    16. Flowy Kurta

The traditional chaniya-choli does have its own appeal, but it is itchy and time-consuming. After a tiring day at work, you just want to slip into something comfortable yet lovely. Well, thank God Ajio always manages to have the desired product right at hand.

So, we hope this post gave you a head-start into rocking the nine day Navratri everyone is waiting eagerly for. We might have nudged you in some direction, but remember, creativity is always individualistic and not so commonly imitated. Hence, do your own thing anyway.

  • Funky Indo-Western Dresses To Grab Eyeballs This Navratri 2022

Funky Indo-Western Dresses To Grab Eyeballs This Navratri 2022

“If everyone has it, I don’t want it” is my fashion motto of all the time. I take immense pride in wearing something unique and completely mine. To be truly novel and exclusive, you will have to mix up your wardrobe and create something crazy from only what you have. Though, that is subjective, we have some common, doable looks you can pull off Navratri 2020. Don’t stick to the same old Chanya-Choli, craze it up 😉

Also, if you are someone who enjoys in participating in the customs and traditions, you will probably be interested in knowing that there is a specific color assigned to each day of this Gujarati festival. Fascinating, is not it? To know more about which color to wear when, click here.

So, with no more delay, let’s get started.

    1. Kaftan with Traditional Touch

Kaftan’s are my first love since the time they are back in fashion, as nothing is more comfy than a trendy kaftan. What can give a better indo-western look than a white kaftan with Kachchhi patch on it and tassels on the edges. Looks trendy as well as beautiful and perfectly goes with the brightness of this festival of “nine” nights.

Indo-Western Jumpsuits to avoid hassle of pining and draping

The best thing about jumpsuits is surely how easy they are to “jump into”. No trouble of mix-matching a top and bottom, definitely no safety pins or brooches. I feel this jumpsuit is a good investment, as it can come handy for other social and cultural celebrations or occasions.

    2. Kedia and Tulip Pant Set

If you want to play garba comfortably and still want traditional look this kedia and pant set is the best option.

In gujarat, Kedia is being worn since the ancient time by males and nothing can be considered more traditional than this.  Now a days you can find significant variety of Kadia in females as well with vibrant colors and fabulous work. Kedia and Tulip pant set would be a perfect indo-western dress for you if you want to opt for something traditional and yet want western touch.

    3. Patola Print Anarkali Long Dress

This 850 years old art of Patan, Gujarat is rich in quality and became a sign of social status of Gujarati females and girls.  This motif print is one of the rich heritage of Gujarat. It looks royal and graceful. So this patola print dress will give you the exact traditional look your desire with utmost comfort.

    4. Crop Top with Lahenga

This crop top and lahenga is perfect indo-western due to KODI work on the edge of the crop top. You can skip dupatta with this for the comfort and if you wear dupatta it will be best traditional look, incase you skip it will be your perfect indo-western look.

    5. A decorated Sharara to steal the spotlight

Sharara makes a quirky Indo-western Navratri dress, a popular alternative to the authentic chanya-choli, does not it? For those who feel more comfortable in pants than a skirt, it is a better choice as some people don’t like the hassle of wearing tights below the skirt or how easy it is to trip in one. You buy find the one depicted below, here.

    6. Boho Babe, in Embroidered White

Bohemian is killing it everywhere, is not it ? Feathered earrings, big stoned rings, multiple bracelets, you name it. Everything in your boho-closet can add up to you owning the craziest Navratri dress-wear.

    7. Crocheted Ethnic Dress

Crochet has a charm, that no other fabric does. The colorful crocheted dress, stole your heart did not it? Something about these woven fabrics is very similar to the bandhani of chanya-choli, but entirely unique to its own as well. I guess this is what is means to have your cake and eat it too.

    8. A colorful denim or Kutch Jacket

Sassy, sassier, the sassiest! The colorful denim jacket with the small adorable mirrors is bound to level up your fashion game. Due to its versatility, it can be wore over a black ganji or any other colored tee.

    9. A comfy Navratri in jeans

Here is the one you secretly came for. A spicy Navratri look with jeans. That’s we all want, don’t we? After jeans, no other apparel seems appealing enough to abandon our trusted pair of denim. You can find five ways to style jeans so as to rock this Navratri, in the video attached here.

    10. Dhoti with Dupatta Drape

Why should boys have all the fun? A dhoti is as hip on a woman, as suave it is on a young dashing man. I love how the one below, has a dupatta draping attached to the blouse, which gives it a half-saree kind of look. I surely have not seen this look before. To replicate this indo-western Navratri outfit, you can buy this one out at Nykaa.

    11. Kurti with Palazzo

  • 14 Outfits to Slay the Monsoon Look Like a Pro

14 Outfits to Slay the Monsoon Look Like a Pro

Gear up for the monsoons, announces the foreseers of weather to its people.
Dress up for the monsoon, another message from the fashion police follows!

Yes, with monsoon humming its tune from somewhere around the corners, when petrichor infuses your senses with an indescribable calm, getting monsoon-ready is all you need. If prepping your skin for the monsoon is bothering you, you’ve multiple ways to fix the problems. Here are some night-time skin care tips that can make your monsoon days brighten.

However, if your concern is dressing up for the monsoon downpour, we are on the same page. So, let’s be an enchantress this season and not an ‘Umbrella Woman’ with a somber-tone dressing sense. Some tips to polish your style statement this rain!

Color, color, everywhere, choose the bright and beautiful!

Green, energetic, joyful, fulfilling, and all bright colors make the best portrayal for the rainy season. So, why go dull and gloomy with your dresses, and not wear colorful, floral, or dark shades instead? And, when at times, the moods of the rain display dullness and monotony, colorful outfits will help uplift your mood.

Put your whites and lights on hibernate mode!

Give a break to your lights and whites this season, and go experimenting with colors. Getting drenched, sometimes willfully, sometimes, by a stroke of (bad)luck, when going out for something big, is part and parcel of the rains. Having said that, if you get drenched while wearing a white or light-colored outfit, you’ll get into an awkward situation because transparency can sometimes land you in rough waters. I hope you understand! Ahem! Ahem!!

Culottes means style and comfort weaved into one!

The dictionary says, “culottes are calf-length trousers that resemble a skirt”. However, being a diehard fan of these pants, I say, “culottes are life.” These are super comfy, smart, and of course, trendy. And, you can wear these just about anywhere, right from college to office.

    Kaftan dress

If you don’t own a kaftan dress this monsoon, you can’t call yourself fashionista. A kaftan dress is must this monsoon season. Trust me they are very comfy and comes with beautiful prints and designs. You can opt for motif, floral, tie and dye, bandhani and so on… It comes in endless material and designs. Satin kaftans are my favourite. It looks gorgeous and gives royal look. Short and 3/4 length kaftan would be great for rainy days. They are mostly flowy and can dry quickly in case you get wet.

Short kaftan dresses you can later on wear with ankle length leggings and it will give amazing traditional look. You can even wear it that way for the upcoming Raksha bandhan festival.

Comfort and versatility make a kimono the must-have!

Kimono, a design straight from Japan right into your monsoon wardrobe. Wow! It’s an easy-breezy robe that is a fabulous fashion accessory and makes you monsoon-ready in minutes. You can either wear a kimono dress or sport it like a shrug over an outfit. The latter option will allow you to show the dress with some amount of coverage.

Slay the rains in midi skirts!

When in doubt, go for a midi or mid-length skirt. It looks stunning and the best way to avoid the puddles, the characteristics of the rainy season. And, if you are more than in love with denim, which you find wiser to avoid when it rains, a midi denim skirt is just the one for you.

Go buttoned-up formal with a shirtdress!

The days when it has to be formal, but then it’s raining cats and dogs, a shirt dress is good to go. It bridges the gap between reserved formality and easygoing practicality. All you need to make sure is, the print and style are low-key and more traditional than bright and florals.

Cropped is the new complete in when it’s pouring!

Cropped skirts, pants, trousers, and dresses are comfortable and stylish and save you the nightmare of getting them soiled every time you step out. And, the best part, these are high enough to stay away from the muddy-mess.

    Mid-length shorts are my go-to!

The rainy season and shorts are like made for each other. However, if you want some more coverage, and yet stay-away-dirt-and-wetness, mid-length shorts are the best buy. Pair it with an off-shoulder, oversized t-shirt, or crop top, and you are ready for the day.

When you can’t do without Indian outfits!

Can’t miss the Indian charm during rains? You don’t have to. Just a little bit of twist-n-turn, mix-n-match, and that’s all you need. Go for short Kurtis and pair those with ankle-length legging or jeggings. Puddles will bother you no more. What to do with the dupatta that sometimes goes unmanageable during rains? Simple, swap your dupatta with a matching stole or scarf.

    Co-ords are new in trends

Multicolored co-ords look amazing in this rainy season. It can be your perfect weekend travel partner. Multicoloured design and print can instantly uplift your mood in this dull weather.

Go easy-breezy not cling and tight-fitted!

Many of my friends put their tight-fitted jeans and trousers to sleep mode when the monsoons shower. I think it is a wise idea, because, by chance, if you get wet, you will not want to spend the entire day drying your clothes, right? Also, if you wear skin-tight clothes and you get wet, you can get skin irritations and infections.

Look effortlessly cool with cut-off shorts!

Cut-off shorts are wow and carry the essence of the monsoons. It makes you look effortlessly fashionable, charming, and carefree. However, if you find it too casual and slushy, wear a beautiful top with bright colors and bold prints, and you can revamp the look just like that.

    Ankle-length jeans are amazing!

If you are like me, someone who loves to wear jeans like crazy, the monsoon downpours can be challenging. Fret not, because where there is a longing, fashion lovers carve out a way for sure. If not jeans, then ankle-length jeans can be your resort. Pair it with a biker jacket or a classic denim jacket and some chic accessories, and kill it.

Here I come to your rescue, says Bermuda!

What I feel is, when it comes to finding the most comfortable piece of garment to embrace the downpour of the monsoon without much hassle, Bermuda makes the best choice. Somewhere between an upper-knee and mid-thigh length, you can wear it loose or tight-fitted and with whichever top you want. Although you cannot wear it to your workplace, until it is a GO-AS-YOU-LIKE competition, jokes apart, Bermuda can be your go-to.

Give a big nod to High-waist trousers!

If you are looking for a casual edge but a little bit of elegance, sporting high-waist pants can be a good idea. It’s elegant and chic. Plus, you can wear these comfortably as office wear. Going on a brunch? No problem! Put a fluorescent top and a printed scarf, and look effortlessly cool and gorgeous.

Now that you’ve enough ideas to take care of your skin when it’s wet, hot, and humid outside and dress to impress, how can you forget your diet? These 8-superfoods are not only good for your health but also your beauty.

Nothing can ever beat the beauty of a floral outfit on Holi. You can choose either a suit or sarees. For sarees, pair it with a matching blouse. The suit should be of a lighter shade. A matching floral dupatta will surely make many heads turn. You can add some jewelry and you are good to go.

    5. White/Beige Skirt

What is better than teaming up a plain white skirt with a dark blouse? You can even go for a beige skirt and pair it with a golden blouse. This will make you look classy this Holi.

    6. Keep it Short and Simple

When you cannot think of any perfect outfit for Holi, simply go for Deepika Padukone’s Balam Pichkari Holi look. A short Kurti will work great when paired with jeans or pajamas. It will require minimal effort but will be the most practical Holi look that you can go for.

Sounds like a perfect choice! White chikankari kurta with palazzo would serve the purpose. Short chikankari kurta will also look good when worn with jeans. This can be one of the perfect traditional Holi dresses that you can choose to wear this Holi.

How to Remove Holi Colors from Clothes?

People search a lot about how to remove Holi colors from clothes. We are here to help you. Do you know what’s the best way to remove Holi colors from clothes? Do not get any! However, that seems next to impossible when you are a huge fan of the festival of colors. You will undoubtedly play with colors and those colors will make their way to your clothes. Many of you must be saving your old clothes just for this purpose, however, many must be planning to wear new clothes. So, for them, it is important to know how to remove stains from the clothes. There are multiple ways that we know which will help you to make your clothes wearable again.

    1. Bleach

If the clothes that you have played Holi in are white, simply soak them in hot water and add non-chlorine bleach to them. Wash those clothes and dry them separately to avoid the other clothes from spoiling.

    2. White Vinegar

In two to three liters of cold water, add 1 teaspoon of ariel and half a cup of white vinegar. The acid makes sure that every stain is removed from the clothes.

    3. Window Cleaner

Ain’t this sounding a bit strange? But it’s true. Make sure you use a clear ammonia-based-spray-on window cleaner in the process of removing the stains. Spray the window cleaner on the stain and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Blot the stain using a clean cloth and wash and rinse normally.

    4. Lemon Juice

Lemons have acid in them which helps in removing the stains from the clothes. Soak the stained cloth in lemon juice for about 15 minutes and then scrub it lightly using your hands. Wash the cloth as usual but separately.

    5. Methylated Spirit

Rub some undiluted alcohol on the stained area and rinse the cloth thoroughly under cold water. Then, wash it as usual.
